It happens

I never thought I would be so happy to see a Monday! This whole past weekend was spent cuddling with my son on the couch. He was a little under the weather. When he doesn’t feel good, all he wants is mom. So, since that would be me, we were attached to the couch.
I planned on getting up at five this morning to go workout (I haven’t worked out since Wednesday aaagghhh!) but at 4:30 guess who woke up and wanted in our bed?? Yep, so I slept off and on until 5:20 and decided I was tired of being kicked in the head, so I went downstairs to get ready for work.
Nothing’s better than a sleeping baby.

So, I am hoping today will be back to normal and I can get back on track with my workout schedule. Drives me insane. I don’t feel good if I don’t do anything. I feel stiff and yucky. Do you feel yucky and stiff? Go do something!

Plus, I have not been able to run since Easter morning either. Boo! My wonderful husband is getting me a treadmill for my birthday. So excited! While running outside is my favorite, it will be nice in the winter and days when it just doesn’t work out for me to leave the house. So, I get to rearrange my workout room again! Yay!

Life happens and you may fall off track. Don’t waste your time and get back on as soon as you can. Don’t get down on yourself for things out of your control. Just watch your calories on the days you are not able to workout. If you are still making excuses think about your goals. Just think how far you could be in just 30 days! Don’t waste another day to take good care of yourself. Your body will thank you for it. Why do I feel cruddy? I haven’t done anything in five days!

Write your excuses down and really think about them. Are they valid? Can you do better?
